How to Write A Sonnet
A Sonnet has 14 lines
each line should have 10 syllables
it must rhyme
the rhyming works like this:
A, B, A, B, C, D, C, D, E, F, E, F, G, G.
My mum is caring, kind and loves me lots
She cheers me when I’m angry, which is nice.
I have a kitten but that’s all I’ve got
If we had pizza she would like a slice!
This next bit is about my funny dad
He helps me sketch drawings in my note pad
These sonnets are hard to make with a rhyme
Kuba is my brother, he loves penguins
He likes sport, but he also likes sweeties
He also likes to watch funny dolphins
He likes Lola so he gives her treaties
My family is sometimes annoying
But, they’re loving so let’s keep enjoying.
